Jeremiah brings a diversity of experience to SafeDefend. Jeremiah is a 1998 graduate of Gardner-Edgerton High School. After High School he joined the US Air Force. Jeremiah served in over 40 countries in 4 years of active duty as a loadmaster on the C-5 Galaxy. Jeremiah followed that up with 16 years in the Iowa Air National Guard as a member of their Finance team earning his 20-year retirement in the military. While in the Air National Guard he completed his B.A. in Accounting from Grand View University in Des Moines, IA in 2006. In 2008 he successfully passed the Certified Public Accountant exam. During the last 15 years he has worked in several Finance and Accounting roles progressing from Staff Accountant to Chief Financial Officer. Those companies include Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, Praxair Distribution, Des Moines University, Dupont-Pioneer and Special Olympics Iowa. Additionally, he has been owner of a tax consulting business since 2011. Jeremiah has two teenage sons that keep him busy. He is a huge fan of local sports and enjoys being part of the SafeDefend team.
